The Old Course

Little more can be said about the Old Course that has not already been said with 29 Opens it continues to attract golfers from all over the world to play one of the oldest courses in the World. Tradition is everywhere and to stand on the first tee knowing all of the greatest golfers who have ever played golf have stood on the same piece of ground certainly brings the hairs on the neck to attention.

The New Course

At over 6500 it is the oldest “new” course in the world built in 1895 by no other than Tom Morris, the new course is a hidden gem and one we believe all visitors to St Andrews should add to their stay, you will not be disappointed with its rolling fairways and undulating greens, it’s not a course to be taken lightly.

The most challenging of the links courses in St Andrews at nearly 6800 yards and stands on its own as a true classic championship golf course. Many visitors believe this to be the best course in St Andrews and being close to the sea offers some wonderful views. You will never be disappointed playing the Jubilee.

Many a golfers favourite just outside the town of St Andrews where you are always guaranteed a true Scottish welcome with a golf course that offers a seriously tough challenge (even off the yellow tees).  Opened in 2000 and has been voted No. 1 golf course in Scotland in 2014 it offers everything you want from a links golf course – caddies are in high demand here and once played you can understand why. “as good as it gets” & “simply amazing” a few accolades from guests playing Kinsbarns in the last few months.

Castle Course

A Caddie is a must for the Castle Course and very quickly since opening in 2008 has become a must play golf course for many. Built on a rugged cliff coastline looking back at St Andrews the views are some of the most spectacular in the area. Even if you are not playing pop in for some lunch or an afternoon tea and wish you had played this gem in St Andrews.

Carnoustie Open 2018

Carnoustie Golf Links

At just shy of 7000 yards off the tournament tee’s this is a monster and often described by the pro’s as one of the toughest on the Open Schedule. Approx. 45 minutes from St Andrews it is worth the visit if time allows and with the Open being back in 2018 you can guarantee a wonderful golfing experience.
